If you would like to nominate someone or self-nominate, please send an email to Dr. Gerhard Kuska at kuska@maracoos.org with the subject line “MARACOOS Board nomination” and a short message indicating the individual’s name and short description of interest. The suggestions will be provided to the Nominations Committee, who will prepare a slate for Board consideration and approval, in preparation for the elections.

AGENDA:

The year's Annual Meeting will set the course for the coming years, building on the past year's success. A new Innovation Initiative will be the focus, bringing together existing partners and drawing in new partners, including especially the private sector, to respond and provide data/information products in critical areas for the Mid-Atlantic. Some of the initial areas include: water quality including ocean acidification and hypoxia, ecological forecasting including vibrio and fisheries habitat, animal telemetry, and inundation. Special sessions will address many of these issues. Additional areas will be defined by you--the attendees/participants--at the Annual Meeting!
