Meeting

J.W. Marriott
1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, D.C. 20004

This year MARACOOS is pleased to convene its Annual Meeting from December 15-16, 2011 in Washington, D.C. to highlight the partnerships that have been and will continue to be vital to safeguard lives, enhance water quality and public health, improve flood warnings, protect fish stocks from overfishing while enhancing the fishing experience, save shipping time and fuel costs, as well as to spawn new businesses—ultimately improving the economic, environmental, and general well-being of residents and visitors in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The Annual Meeting will focus on partnerships and leveraging efforts to maximize value for stakeholders throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Washington, DC is not only within MARACOOS' regional footprint, it is also home to many of MARACOOS' federal agency partners.

Along with our federal, state, local, academic, and private sector partners and stakeholders from around the Mid-Atlantic, we look forward to welcoming our federal agency partners from the DC area to the meeting, providing an opportunity to review some of the successful partnerships and lay groundwork for new ones in the future.
