    This is a bit of local color resulting from Hurricane Irene’s path. Luckily things were not worse
    or this would not be so light-hearted.
    Using the Maracoos blog for useful and interesting information and local inundation charts just recently released to indicate flooding probabilities down to the actual street level, many residents moved their cars to higher ground only a few blocks away and avoided automobile issues as in this video.
