U.S. EPA - Region 2 held a biannual "Science Day" on October 5, 2011 at their Edison Environmental Center (EEC) located in Edison, NJ.  The purpose was to familiarize EPA staff, particularly EPA NYC staff and managers, with current technical projects. IMCS Glider Engineer Dave Aragon and Intern Rachel Plunkett attended and displayed RU07, as well as posters depicting glider operations and the EPA/NJDEP NJ Coast project.  There was a lot of interest and questions regarding the gliders and the project.  EPA was very appreciative of IMCS participation in the event.
